Questions, answered

Lyn is a translucent fabric in 40 colours. It softens the light and gives you privacy. Stour is a blackout fabric in 30 colours, so it blocks out the light.

Yes. Both fabrics are antibacterial and moisture resistant. Lyn also has Biosafe, an antimicrobial treatment tested to strict infection-control standards.

Yes. A white plastic chain comes as standard. You can upgrade to a metal chain in one of seven finishes, or a premium metal chain in matte black or matte white. Both cost extra.

Yes. Fabrics from our Rapid Roller Table 1 and Table 2 ranges are available on Valore as premium fabrics, at extra cost.

A chain breaker is a child safety measure fitted to the chain. For it to work, the chain drop must be 3/4 of the window drop. So a 1000mm window drop needs a 750mm chain with a breaker. It isn’t available with plastic chains. If in doubt, contact us.

No. Valore is a chain-operated blind.

Valore goes up to 2050mm wide and 2150mm drop. We also make rollers for larger windows, so contact us and we’ll find the right fit.

First, decide where the blind will sit. Use a steel tape and measure in millimetres. Always give the width first, then the drop.

Inside the recess: measure the width at the top, middle and bottom, and use the smallest. Do the same for the drop on the left, centre and right. Give us the exact recess size. We make the deductions for you.

Outside the recess: check there is flat wall above the window for the brackets. Add at least 50mm on each side so the blind overlaps the window. More overlap means more privacy and less light.
